Getting started with CrossFit
What is CrossFit?
The definition of CrossFit is Constantly Varied, Functional Movements executed at High Intensity. What this means is that you are learning to do natural movements that you do every day in your normal life: squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling and more.
It is by far the most efficient fitness program out there, combining Weightlifting, Gymnastics and High Intensity Cardio. We use a broad diversity of tools, modalities and drills to make you fit fast.
The beauty of CrossFit is that it is infinitely scalable to the abilities of every athlete: from total beginners to elite athletes, we welcome everybody! You don’t have to be fit to start, but just willing to give it your best and the results will follow.
Our training is intense, which means that members bond through hard work, sweat and by exposing their weaknesses, making them stronger, together. At CrossFit, we are supportive, competitive and humble. We leave our ego at the door. The community aspect of CrossFit is our greatest strength.
CrossFit and mobility
Mobility is crucial for proper physical development. As part of your training, it helps to improve healthy movement patterns through work on soft tissue and joint capsule restrictions, tight muscles, etc. Incorporating mobility in your program will improve performance, reduce injuries and speed up recovery.
It’s a must!
